Happy Sunday, or Sonday?

Driving in the blinding sun,

sunglasses reflecting the glare,

our destination won.

protection, finally there.

What protection will we need,

to see God’s radiant face?

Repenting, replenishing, indeed,

Relying on God’s gift of grace.

For without His son, we would be blind,

unable to see heaven in all of its glory,

But God’s own son, crucified and divine,

Is the Sonday, that completes the story.

Put his shades on day by day.
