each day you wore a poster,
listing all your obstacles,
all your weaknesses,
all your faults,
all your diseases,
would you discard me,
and cast me in the sea,
or smile and say,
I have shared all of those signs too,
perhaps it would create a better world,
full of compassion shared with others,
reading the signs inside, invisible to see,
That is a measure of love, we truly need.
Be who you are and know you are not alone,
as we step out together, joined as one.

I glanced out the window to see

A typical day at a loss for words for this occurrence,
My husband visits the bathroom, locking the door,
When he exits there is definitely a precarious difference,
He finds he can’t get out, wondering what’s in store.
No tools my handyman has to use inside,
the window on the outside for me is too high.
I contemplated letting him stay inside overnight
Sitting pondering an answer, could it take all day?
A tall visitor stopped in passing the tools for pure delight,
As he learned a door knob truly turns both ways.
Compliments are sweet to give and flavor living,
