Lost in the Desert? Remember it, Dear Friend

A bit of explanation goes a long way!

Lines by Linda

Traveling I found myself parched in the hot desert sun,

Unaware of how I arrived there, where from?

I cried to the Lord for a drink of water, “Lord, please!”

Suddenly a camel with her calf came from the east.

Instinctively the mother surrounded me and put me at ease,

As she fed her calf and droplets of milk found my mouth,

“Thank you Lord,” for you nourish me as I follow the camels heading south,

Losing all track of time, “What day is it?”

The camel replied, “Hump Day” for we will not quit.

On the dawn of a new day, we set out to travel again,

God brought us to an oasis, for water to drink.

This is why Thirst Day follows Hump Day.

Remember it, dear friend, won’t you, again?

Noah’s favorite day of the week to many is unknown,

However, after researching, no longer alone.

It is found in the Good Book I read and have read.

For certainly the ark to me was just the way it said.

For obviously I know as the animals marched in two by two,

Noah’s favorite day was Twos Day, never feeling blue,

Remember it’s Tuesday, will you make it through?

Daily Prompt: Life After Blogs, I Travel Alone

Writing is part of my heart and being!

Lines by Linda

Without a computer, I travel alone.

The road narrows, no more stepping-stones.

The words fly without wings,

a blog’s death it brings.

The heart grows somber,

life is lonelier.

My connections wither, going to dust,

I am thankful for the computer, my thoughts to see,

with the striking of each new key.

Bringing me back to tranquility.
