Daily Prompt: Smell You Later Skunk

Skunk (Photo credit: Mike Bowler)

The slow, scent spewed in the summer’s eve,
lingering, longing, how I wanted to leave.
There in the garage I couldn’t escape,
the black and white skunk face to face,
Soon, too late, lifting its tail,
Imprisoning me in the scent filled jail.
See you later, skunk,
find me hiding in the trunk.
