Daily Prompt: Proud.

The hardest lesson in life is that of pride.

Robbing me of God‘s glorious ride.

For without him I am nothing, so true,

By him, life, guiding through.

I used to think of what people would say,

About the great things I brought their way.

Those seem unimportant in the scope of life,

What is beneficial is his work, behind.

Not because of how great works I offered to give,

But humbly guided by His life in him I live.

So thanks and honor I bring to God above,

Through the honor of sharing by his gift of love.
