An unforgettable ride,
never forgotten
destined for two,
showing me life’s ups and downs,
why did someone take you away,
I loved the splinters that stuck in,
and joked with all my friends,
My life found true balance,
The board showed me life’s highs and lows,
For when I was up in the air, I felt on top,
At ground level, I was looking forever up,
With other children the seesaw balanced out,
How many lessons it brought me to truly survive.
