Light one candle for the comfort of all who mourn,
Light one candle for Christ who was born,
Light one candle that our children are secure,
Light one candle, for our teachers, so dear.
Light one candle, that our schools are safe for once and for all,
Light one candle, that our nation will echo this call.
Light one candle, for the parents as teachers to each child,
Light one candle as examples of you, Jesus, tender and mild.
Light one candle around the world standing in one light,
Light one candle, that you 
show God’s delight.
